Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.

So the captions' options just don't work like at all. I could say hamburger as clearly as possible, and the captions would show something different. The other stuff works good enough, I suppose, and the effects are fairly silly. One more thing, captions has no swear filter, so you should add an option for that. Edit: if you have kids around, they shouldn't be able to read a swear word on captions. like bro. come on.

It's nice and easy to use. However, the reason I've given 3-stars is because it uses too much Mobile and Wi-Fi too fast. Figuring out a better way to use Google Meet using less Mobile Data or Wi-Fi would totally bring this rating to a 5-star. 2026 is almost here. Surely, technology is far enough along to do something like this. Just a thought. 😉
