There is no option to turn off the in-ear detection and that makes the earbuds near unusable. The earbuds will randomly stop working because it "detects" that it's no longer in my ear, even though it is. Bose, please fix this. The old sport earbuds didn't have this problem with the other app, but it won't let me use that app for the quiet comfort earbuds.

After a long search spanning Powerbeats, Sony, and even bone conduction—despite my Samsung ecosystem—I found the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. They are, simply put, the best I've ever owned. The sound is a revelation: top-notch bass and a rich vibration make every song sound like a studio performance. The intuitive Aware Mode and easy controls completely sold me. These are a must-buy for premium audio.

App turns off after a short period of time and will not reconnect without being completely closed and reopened. High quality earbuds with a low quality app. Frustrating. I'm going to return the earbuds for another brand. I can't see paying a premium price when there other brands comparable in quality with a fully functional app.
