Too complicated! Totally defeated my intended purpose, which was to have a quick and simple way to record a prayer request that someone might tell me, or to save something I think of in the course of my day. I want to add items quickly and organize them later (if at all). This app wanted me to jump through a dozen illogical hoops that I didn't want in the first place. And I certainly don't want or need preloaded prayer items. A friend of mine also tried it and never used it for the same reasons.

Hello there, we are very sorry to hear that this has been your experience. PrayerMate is certainly designed around helping you continue to pray for these people over the long term, rather than merely to capture the requests. But we would love to hear more about any aspects that seem "illogical" - might you email info@prayermate.net with more info?

Originally, I couldn't get the app to sync between the IPAD and my android phone. it just wouldn't work. In response to my original review that pointed it out, the actual developer reached out to me, and tried to help, but unfortunately the syncing is still hit and miss (mostly miss, sadly). I'm disappointed, because other than that, this app is the best of the apps that I've seen out there, and works full screen with Ipad (a couple other apps only work in lame "emulation" mode on partial screen, portrait only). If you don't need to sync across devices, it'd be a good choice.

This app has great ideas, but it's not quite there yet. Seems incomplete. It may be an iOS vs. Android issue, as it seems like from the Praymate website that much more development has been done on the iOS version. For instance, there is no way to access the Settings on the Android version, but iOS screenshots has a button for that. Also, the syncing from one device to another does not work.

Hi there, as soon as you begin a prayer session you should see the settings icon in the top right, which is also where you can access the sign in and sync functionality. If you have found info about iOS being more developed it is probably very out of date these days.
